Hugo recently obtained a Master in Actuarial Sciences at UCLouvain, after a Bachelor in Business Engineering at the University of Namur. This background enabled him to develop solid skills in quantitative finance, actuarial modeling and programming (R, Python, SAS, Excel), as well as in key areas of insurance.

During his internship at Foyer Assurances, he specialized in modeling non-life motor insurance premiums, combining classical approaches (GLM) and machine learning methods. This experience allowed him to combine academic rigor and practical application, while confirming his interest in applied actuarial work.

Convinced that Act-unity offers a unique environment to start his career, Hugo wishes to explore the diversity of actuarial missions, learn alongside experienced professionals and actively contribute to meaningful projects.

« I chose Act-unity because I believe it is the ideal environment to start my career: a place where one can discover different facets of actuarial sciences, progress quickly and benefit from collective experience. I am motivated to put my commitment and rigor into practice while continuing to develop my expertise in a collaborative and stimulating environment. »
